Sindh Education and Literacy Department is looking for the passionate youth from all over Sindh, to fill the Junior Science Teacher (JST) vacancy positions through IBA STS (SIBA Testing Service).

Previously, IBA STS conducted MCQs tests for the recruitment of Primary School Teachers (PST) and Junior Elementary School Teachers (JEST) in Sindh Education and Literacy Department.

Vacant Positions:

Sindh Education and Literacy Department has announced 1238 vacant positions of Junior Science Teacher (JST) (BPS-14) through IBA STS (SIBA Testing Service) on 1st May 2025.

The candidates will be posted in different high schools of Sindh.

The Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based test will be conducted from the eligible candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who are interested in joining the School Education and Literacy Department Sindh and wanted to avail the latest career opportunities of Junior Science Teacher (JST) (BPS-14) in Sindh Education Department should meet the following eligibility criteria.

The candidates will be considered eligible for the Junior Science Teacher (JST) jobs, if they posses following educational, age and residential requirements.

• Education: Science Graduate having 50% from HEC recognised institute or university.
• Domicile: All over Sindh

How to Apply

The candidates who possess the required educational qualifications and meets the Junior Science Teacher (JST) eligibility criteria, can apply online through STS job portal, by following the below-given instructions.

Important Instructions:

1. Interested candidates must submit their applications online through the STS Portal: http://www.apply.sts.net.pk. (Manual applications will not be accepted.)

2. Candidates must upload the following documents to the portal when applying online:

• CNIC (front and back)
• Domicile
• PRC/Form-D
• Arecent photograph
• All academic documents, including percentage/marks certificates from the respective university.

Note: Completion of degrees is mandatory. Appearance certificates will not be accepted.

3. Candidates with disabilities must upload their CNIC featuring the “Wheelchair” logo issued by NADRA along with a disability certificate issued by DEPD.

4. Applicants should apply for the position of Junior Science Teacher (BS-14), subject to the availability of vacancies. District-wise vacancy lists are available on the official website of SE&LD: https://www.sindheducation.gov.pk/.

5. Statutory quotas, including those for minorities and people with disabilities, will be maintained in accordance with the applicable rules and policies of the Government of Sindh

6. After completing the online application, candidates can download a system-generated challan of Rs.1500/= (Rupees Fifteen Hundred Only). The challan can be paid at any ABL Bank Ltd branch or via the MyABL app. Alternatively, candidates may use the 1Bill reference number to pay\ through the internet banking portal of any 18ill-linked bank. (This fee is non-refundable)

7. All relevant documents must be issued on or before the closing date. Eligibility criteria related to age, qualifications, and domicile will be determined based on the last date of the advertisement.

8. The domicile and PRC-D submitted with the application will be considered final. No changes will be made under any circumstances after submission.

9. Incomplete applications and documents will not be entertained or processed after the closing date.

10. Providing fictitious, exaggerated or misleading information shall result in rejection of applications & can lead to termination of employment at any stage.

11. Passing the written/objective test alone does not guarantee employment. Applicants must meet all other terms and conditions as per the policy notified by SE&LD.

12. SE&LD reserves the right to add, remove, or reallocate vacant positions for Junior Science Teacher (BPS-14).

13. General age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules of the Government of Sindh.

14. Candidates already serving in the government who meet the eligibility criteria may also apply through the proper channel.

15. Candidates are advised to use only their original mobile number in the online application form and refrain from providing numbers that have been converted to another network.

16. The date, time & venue shall be intimated later through an SMS alert. Further, all updates and notifications about the test dates, admit slips, result announcements or any other information shall be uploaded on the STS website/portal as well. In this regard, candidantamust visit the portal/website from time to time.

17. No queries will be entertained one week prior to the scheduled written test.

18. The last date for online application & challan submission is May 20, 2025.
